The “bear claw” necklace is a warrior’s necklace. The design is inspired by an old favorite. Only the hunter who killed the bear could wear the bear claws. A contemporary take, I create this design using different colors and materials, stone or shell spikes with wampum in between each spike. This is a popular item that makes the person wearing it feel strong. This piece reminds me of fire or sunshine very simple color scheme is made using a Tigers eye stone fan at the center with deep purple beach wampum in between.
